But things are finally on the up for these adorable babies who have found a safe and happy home at a rehabilitation centre in the glorious jungle of Western Borneo. The youngsters are pictured settling in to their new surroundings at the International Animal Rescue (IAR) rehabilitation and conservation centre in Sungai Awan, West Kalimantan. Noel, Gunung, Tribune, Onyo, Rickina, Rocky and Marie are among dozens of orphaned orangutans who have found a happy home – saved from a life of cruelty and starvation – just in time for World Orangutan Day on Monday (August 19).
